Mercredi 27 février

Today, the students kept on practicing on the present-past conjugation of -ER and -IR verbs, in order to assimilate the importance of the sounds heard, and of the letters written: -e / -é. For that purpose, we had a set of flashcards and played with them to build up sentences.
Toward the end, we also played another letter game where the kids needed to form as many words possible with a limited number of letters, it was a funny and instructive way to end our rich class time.

Mercredi 2o février

Today our students worked hard in writing their own sentences in the present and past tenses, using -ER and -IR verbs, in order to put into practice what we've learned so far. Then we finished the class time with a little vocabulary game to see what they know, and they liked it very much.

Mercredi 13 février

After two weeks out of the classroom, it was wise to resume the past formation with -ER verbs, continuing with the -IR verbs. Starting with sentences in the present tense, the students converted them into the past, and learned the difference between -er and -é, although it sounds the same.
Then it was time for some Valentine Cards with French lines inside. Joyeuse Fête de la Saint-Valentin!!
